My jackpot 4.5" touring are nowhere near that loud. I have the stock headpipe and cam in my 2011 103" road glide ultra. I see you have the jackpot headpipe and tw-555 cams, that must be the difference. Like I said, mine do not crackle at all when I get on it.

"Crackle" is the best word I've heard yet! THAT describes the sound I keep hearing! And all this time I thought they were Growling... Thanks

The headpipe us what really makes these pipes growl. I had them on the stock headpipe and now with the Jackpot 2-1-2 headpipe and the difference is night and day. If the weather ever breaks I am gonna get a follow-up video to my original video with the stock headpipe.

GotMy11SG,

Don't get me wrong, I love the sound. It almost sounds like a thunderheader on some of my evos. Is it still relatively quiet when cruising down the highway at low rpms with the headpipe and cams??? I actually had planned to do the same with my bike but don't want it to be obnoxious when doing 3-400 miles in a day.

Enjoyed the ride. They sound awesome and rack off really sweet when you back off the throttle. Me like
