my pal has power duals on his 2011 ultra limited ( which he stores with me for the winter). his bike is lowered 1 inch front and rear.

1. I scrape the right side cover over the X pipe on right hand turns- it's really a pain in the a$$. ( I didn't have the same problem with the stock header pipes)

2. the torca clamp used on the underframe crossover was hitting on speed bumps. I ground the excess off of the bolt on the clamp, but it still has potential to bottom out.

3. if he rides in front, his exhaust sounds tinny to me. ( he has the matching V&H monster wide oval mufflers)

I think he paid alot of money for questionable results.

The Power Duals will provide better torque numbers than the True Duals. The sound you get from either will be dependent on the mufflers you put to them. I guarantee you that my Power Duals do not sound anything close to "tinny" with the 4" Rineharts on them. The sound from the exhaust is not the product of the header-pipe regardless if you use Power Duals or True Duals. Either header will work excellent for your bike... both are some of the best headers available for a Big Twin, bar none. You just have to decide if you want the looks of the True Duals, or the looks of the Power Dual's "X-Pipe Power Chamber" (with a little more torque production). IMO... The Power Duals gives you more of a "Musle Bike" look, and the True Duals give you a "Classic Cruiser" type look. You just have to choose which look your shooting for with your bike.

On my Street Glide in the twisties... my floorboards always drag, yet my Power Dual pipe has never touched the ground. My 2010 Street Glide is not lowered though.

I just put the power duals on my SG with SE "Ventilator" AC and still have stock muffler. (Have a TTS download but have not V tuned)...

Good torque. Sound? Well, my wife likes it so what does that say?

Not sure what slip ons to put on. I want low rumble but quiet anough to listen to the tunes (and to keep SHE WHO MUST BE OBEYED happy).

I'm a fan of the dresser duals.

I really like the stereophonic sound of true dual exhaust.

I did the stage 1 upgrade with the dresser duals and I can tell you I have more power everywhere than I had before. (Rated by the butt dyno.)

It is proven that the power duals increase low end power over the dresser duals, but I don't think its that noticeable.

I just prefer the sound of the true dual exhaust.
