Ever see J&S lifts on sale more than 5%?
Now that I am starting do a LOT more work on my RK, I am looking for a new jack. The 'ol Sears red just bugs me with the marginal stability.
Just wondering if J&S ever go on sale (more thane the usual 5% deal they show on their site regularly).
BTW - NOT trying to start yet another "jack thread" at all... ;^)

Just got my J&S Jack last Wednesday and its awesome, very stable. So goes the saying you get what you pay for. I got a free t-handle with mine and he offers 50.00 shipping anywhere in the US, got mine in 3 days.
Have you seen the table @ Harbor Freight in person.......Yikes, its just spot welded and very unstable. The pit bull would be the only other one I would even consider in the same class as the J&S Jack but it was $100.00 more.
Just my two cents

Since I have one in my garage I would say yes I have seen it in person. I have been fabricating for about 10 years and I am 100% confident in that table. You could probably lift a small car with it.
As for stability.... I am not sure what you mean..... With the levelers properly adjusted my FLHRS can be 3.5' in the air and you couldn't tip it over if you tried. Whereas I don't care what 18" x 18" lift you put underneath it you can tip it over, it's simple physics.
