Who says you're too old?
People are always wanting to know how old you need to be to have a Bagger. the answer is if you want a Bagger, then you're just the right age. they are great bikes and give you so many more options than a straight up Bar-Hopper, although they have their uses too.
It's like education, you're never too old to go back to school. I retired in 2005 after 23 years in the US Army, found a job teaching that summer and am on my 6th year of that. During the last year and a half, I've been taking online college to become a Certified Medical Biller and Coder. I will finish in July, take my Certification and then open my own home based business. This field is in high demand and you can make as much as you want or take it easy and still make a good living. Starting salary is 37,000-40,000. That with my two retirements and disability should keep us comfortable and give me plenty of time to ride Don't let anyone, and especially age keep you from getting what you want, New Bagger, New job, better life etc. I will now step down off my soapbox Stay safe and enjoy the ride. 60-70 degrees and sunny for the next week in Roswell, NM. I'm riding!

I got my first bike of any kind when I was 16 and it was a beat up FLH. Holy smokes! Did I break some unknown age restriction on owning a touring bike? I never thought so. I never even considered that there is some arbatrary age restriction on owning a bagger. If you want a bagger, get a bagger. Age has nothing at all to do with it and I really don't know why anyone would even dream that up. It must come from some brainless youth way of thinking. Thankfully, I was never that brainless.

I am 75, have had two total hip replacements, tripple by-pass surgery, and I also am a cancer survivor, and work as a full time pastor. I ride my Road King every chance I get! I love it and when I can no longer swing my leg over the saddle, I'll have it triked! After making my hospital rounds, I am ready to get on my Harley and just ride! I thank God every day that I still have the energy and strength to do the things I enjoy.
