I'm using a slotted one that i bought 4 yrs ago from motherwell products.You can see it if you look closely at my pics here.It is a quality product,but it didn't come with the ball joints.

Here is what a friend of mine makes. You can get more info on them at his site Glass House Biker Sales. They are very stout and use high quality heim joints. Custom engraved with whatever you want (that will fit).

Stainless heim joint with a stainless rod with with ends milled flat to match heims and no lock nuts to get as clean a look as possible.
