If black is the fastest color than white must be the slowest. But seriously, I think white gives a bike a more "classic" look and a lot of riders these days don't want to go in that direction, and besides, white can be kind of plain. JMO
I wanted a white bike, but when I was shopping for a new one, the MOCO decided not to offer it. You could get white in two tone package, but still not as main color. As for the white denim, I'm not gonna knock it, I just don't like it as I don't care for the denim (flat sheen) look.
Color is last on my list of priorities when choosing a bike. One of my bikes is Black Pearl, and the other is Blue and Gray. I've also owned bikes that were black or various shades of red.
My wife's current bike is white.
