Need Recommendation for 95 Inch upgrade in Ventura County
Have a 88" 2003 RKC I figure to get a 95" build too. Running the Andrews 26G's and Fat Cat with Power Commander.
Where in Ventura County would you recommend? I know of My Garage in Ventura and the guy (Andy) in Oxnard. Just wondering what others might suggest.
Thanks in advance.

Hey One78shovel,
There are dealerships in your area that could do it, unless you don't want the dealership shop rate.
If you don't find shop in your area, to help you, you could do the assembly yourself and just buy the parts.
This is one suggestion that I would give to anyone doing a big bore kit; "If you pull the heads off to put a big bore kit on, get your heads ported and CC'd for a bump in compression" It will be well worth the extra money to do it. Reasons shown below.
1) Better gas mileage then a stage II big bore by an average of 7 miles per gallon.
2) 10-20 more horsepower and torque than a stage II big bore; depending on the cam and exhaust config.
3) More reliable engine in the long run if you get it tuned and broke in correctly.

One78shovel,
Here's another idea. If you can deal with you bike being down for 2-4 weeks, you could send you heads out to an Indy shop somewhere in the US. They will do all the head work and you can put it together when they show up. It's much easier than it sounds. I'll give you a list of shops if you want.
