Arc and hertz. Go to some bike nights and listen to some systems. Remember 2 things:
1. Sound is very subjective. What sounds good to me may not sound good to you.
2. What sounds good in the parking lot may not sound good going down the rode at 80.

The other thing to remember with amps is that it's not always about "power". You also have to consider the distortion rating or THD as it is usually listed. All the power in the world is useless if its at a high distortion factor. The lower the number, the cleaner and more efficient the amp is. I am noticing that alot of times, motorcycle amp manufacturing companies do not list these numbers.

The newer class "D" and class "M" amps provide some of the cleaniest power, but are also some of the more expensive. The old saying is true, you get what you pay for!

I replaced the older alpine 4 channel amp that I had in my saddlebag over the winter with a arc audio 125.2, while it does sound clean, and I am driving it at a 2ohm load with 4 MB Quarts (6.5"s in the fairing, and 5.25"s in momma's couch). The Alpine definetly sounded better.

I have the Hawg Wired system with 6.5 speakers and I am very Happy with the quality. The cusomer service and support is great with HAWG WIRED. When comparing the prices between all the systems there are less expensives options. There are pros and cons for all systems out there.

X2 here... Definitely on a budget but like most want the most bang for my buck. Only doing a fairing system as i don't have lowers and wanting some clean sound. Was thinking the J&M Rokkers with the ARC amp might be an ok mix? Although admittedly I know zero about stereo's...
