Default Pro Pipe chrome question...

Looking to do a stage 1. Due to budget I have to do it in stages...can i put the V&H Pro pipe chrome on my 2010 street glide with stock air cleaner and stock ecm? Or will it run like crap?

Thanks

Not sure if it matters but it is brand new with only 8miles on it...Not even close to the first service.

Thats what I am running on my 08 RG as of Christmas,so far no problems and I can feel the difference in throttle response right away. I have a buddy with that set up on his Heritage and he has been running it for almost a year with no bluing or any problems at all.

Buy the pipe, hang it on the wall. Save up for your air filter, hang it on the wall. Buy the ECM tuner of your choice. NOW you're ready to put it all together.
These bikes are already tuned on the lean side (for EPA). I wouldn't put the pipe on until you buy a tuner.

Agree.
The 2-1 will give a little power with the correct tune.

I think that is probably the BEST option. But if I bought it...I probably have to stick it on there....also considering the fact that you will be removing the restrictive/heat producing cat converter by swapping the stock pipes for the Pro Pipe. Your ECM should return bike to stock lean condition.
