Most of the Hi-Fi colors were over a silver base.

Check with John Pierce over at the aforementioned Color Write. I'm working with him on a '67 paint scheme.

 

My painter has been in touch with him. In the meantime she found http://antiquecyclesupply.com/default.htm. While they don't mix paint, they have the the color chips which can then be used to mix some paint locally.
