I had these
which IMO look much better than the avons.

However in my quest as the OP on my new set up decided to go with these which are better looking than the last ones that I had;

They are Iso's as well, just another version.

Senior moment......Life's to short to get upset over a quote on a forum.....Except my humble apology....

Thank you, sir.

I really appreciate that.

As for the ISOs, I had a set with the built-in throttle boss on my '03 Wideglide and while they were comfortable, I had issues with the quality of the product. For example, the left grip would turn my hand black with some sort of soot. Also, the chrome pitted like crazy on both grips. I swore off Kury products after that. The Avons on the other hand; I have had for a little over a year and they still look like I just took them out of the package. At least in my case the quality is head and shoulders above the ISOs I had

Regards,

ConnMan;7888155]What he said. I've had mine for a year now and I LOVE them. Worth every nickel and still look brand new. My hands never sweat or feel uncomfortable. Maybe the best money I've spent on my bike...

+1

Best grips IMO

I think that the ISOs were a slight bit larger due to the individual ISO cushions. That said, I have large hands and both the ISOs and Avons are comfortable to me.

Thanks Mark, Thats what i was looking to find out. I kinda have my mind set on the avons but I've heard that with the 1 1/4" bars (wild 1 575) that the right hand grip and switch housing comes up a little short of covering up the step down to the 1" part on the bars, I'm afraid that would become an issue with me, did that happen to your bars?
