I used a cut off tool. Just marked where I wanted it cut and cut it off, then sanded it down with a sanding block. I am thinking of putting some flames with window tint, will see how that turns out. Will try to get some pics of it.

Iam the glass shop! Mask the cut, draw a line, use a jigsaw with a plastic or metal blade, make your cut, the use a belt sander with 220 grit
Or a disk sander, sand the edge first then sand the flat, pull the tape, use some motor oil and dress the edge. Note: even if your cut develops a few burrs, your sander will clean it up, the key is to hit the edge in both sides first!!!!!! Then hit the flat

While I had the windshield off to install the new oil temperature gauge, I did what most suggested, blue painters tape, and a jigsaw, and it actually looks pretty good in the raw cut. I will sand it down today and see how polished it looks. Thanks.
