Default SE Street Performance Slip-Ons

Anyone running these? I had the original SE IIs on my old Road King and thought they sounded & performed good. I sold them and went to V&H basics. Of the 2, I preferred the old SE IIs, but in a bone head move, I sold them. Just looking for info on these if anyone is running them. Jeff
From the SE Catalog:
Screamin' Eagle® Street Performance Slip-On Mufflers - Chrome

Street Performance Touring Mufflers combine aggressive sound quality with aggressive performance results. High flow internal design produces performance you can feel, comparable to Screamin' Eagle® II race-use mufflers. Street legal, these chrome-plated mufflers feature a new ballisticshape inlet and a deep embossed "Screamin' Eagle®" signature script. Street legal on stock displacement engines.

Your old SEII's were very likely the old SE 65115-98B mufflers. You can still purchase that exact same muffler from SuperTrapp called the "SE". SuperTrapp (Kerker) made them for HD. These pipes make great torque and power also.

I have the original 98B's on my RK and my buddy has the SuperTrapp SE's on his RG. They both sound the same...AWESOME! Not a better sounding muff on stock headpipes...just sayin.

Another friend has SE's on his '09 with the newer headpipes...sound great there also.

Not sure if you guys are talking about the same mufflers. The SE IIs I had were a slash cut, no end caps and for "Off Road Use Only".

I had the "Off Road Use Only" SE II's on my '04 Fugly when I bought it. Put V&H dresser duals on with those mufflers and holy crap did they get loud. I stumbled upon a set of nearly new V&H Ovals and put those on last year. Nice rumble and decent on long rides without have ringing in the ears. I still have the SE II's in a box just in case I feel like getting rowdy some day.
