I've ran Progressive monotubes and 940 shocks and Ricor Intiminators and Ricor shocks, I like Ricor better but was very happy with the Progressives, you can buy the monotubes from Phatperformance for under $300, that would be your best choice and you will be happy

I have the stock kit and you can not make it stock to 1-2" lower. You either get the stock kit or the lowered kit.

One of the best upgrades you can make. Total change in the bikes response. Will feel like you got a new bike. Say goodbye to nose dive. Worth every penny.

Default progressive monotube kits

I'm planning on going with the progressive monotube system on my 08 streetglide, and I figured I'd go with the lowered one, but I'm not sure if I should go with the 1" or the 2". I just don't want to lower it too much and loose the handling and the ride. Any help on this would be very appreciated. Thanks

I put monotubes in my 99 FLHRCI this winter and finally got to ride last week.....HUGE difference over stock IMO. I was hitting potholes on purpose and the nose didnt dive like it used to. Feels alot smoother. I also upgraded to a 2006 rear swingarm/axle/pivot pin/spherical bearings at the same time. Slapped on some 2009 rear shocks and overall it really improved from the stock 99.

Default Dennis Kirk Price Match

I just ordered the Progressive Momotubes (31-2500) and a Progressive Touring Link for my new to me '08 Street Glide from Dennis Kirk. They price matched another site. The monotubes were $262.98 and the Link was $143.64 with free shipping.
