If parking on concrete, it don't hurt to put the tires on a piece of plywood, and move it every now and then to keep the tires from getting a flat spot(which will go away with riding or warming up)just feels funny when first ride. Can't imagine it being in storage for long, with the current temps in Dallas, of course you do got snow coming. Spring is coming.

My thoughts exactly, this guy is from Texas, ride it year around...it was only about 38 deg this morning and I rode to work today. I guess that's why my 06 still has stock battery and starts every time and never needed jumped...

Yea, wish it would be 38 here, 10 now and is suppose to drop more tonite. My 05 still has the orginal battery too. Took it in last year to get checked and the parts mgr couldn't believe it was still good. Got it in the house, since my storage unit, isn't heated like my old garage was. Gonna put it on the charger Sat night, so Sunday when it hits 50 I am going for a ride in the snow....

After adding the stabile I always run the bike around the block to get the stabile into the fuel system, ie; carb or injector system. Doesn't complete the protection if it's only in the tank.

My bike just finished sitting the longest period since I have had it which was about 2 months due to working away from home. The tank was full and bike is always on a tender year round. It is not EFI so when I finally got to take it out last Sunday it needed a bit of coaxing before it would turn over but once it did I had no problem. Rode it about 18 miles last night and the weather is going to be in the 50's approaching 60 next few days so I will be riding. BTW, I have said this many times before but I love my Gerbing gear!!!!!!
