I have to agree with most, yes it would be useful but not worth the money. It should be standard and not on the handle bar

If you ride your bike enough, you know what gear you are in at any given moment, ESPECIALLY if you have a tach. Too expensive for my blood.

I can't think of any decision I would need to make based on the numerical presentation of what Gear I'm in. That aside, it's pretty neat.
200 bucks neat? Nah.

Ditto for me on that one. There are enough other things for my bike I can spend a couple hundred bucks on that will be far more useful.

I pull a trailer and sometimes I do wonder what gear I'm in.
I'd consider it. Just one more gadget I won't get a nickel for when it comes time to trade or sell.

I would hate to have to pull more wire through my monkey bars

Does this unit display the gear you're in, with the clutch pulled in?
Quite frankly, that's the time this would be useful. I could see the benefit when you're downshifting pulling up to a light. But if it blanks out when you pull the clutch, I wouldn't see it being much benefit

Just installed Medallion Bagger gauges on my 09 Ultra. Gear indicator was included with them along with oil temp instead of air temp. Total cost was only $620. They were easy to install. $200 for this add on is crazy.

Cool but too rich for my blood and not something that you really need.
