Right?

Not to mention Powervision $550 vs. RevPerf $800.
Nevermind that the Powervision doesn't have to be put on a dyno.

Your points are WELL taken!
LOL

Yes, but isn't the Powervision $550 but if you want to self tune you add another $350-$400 or dyno for say $300 and then you are more expensive? The EMS (full discloser I own and love) is only $640 and you do not have to redyno or find a map if you make changes. I looked at the power vision and really liked it in the self tune mode but it would be more expensive. Plus if you make a change whith the powervision don't you have to find a map that is close for the auto tune to adjust? It would be interesting to know how well the power vision auto tune works compaired with the SERT auto tune, as again I believe they tune on different perameteres.

Also, if I remember correctly the EMS adjusts its VE and AFR based on engine load not just thottle position and RPM as the Powervision. I like the fact that the powervision is "working" with the stock ECM as does the EMS. I think that way you keep all the Harley safeguards (spark knock), much better than PCIII or PCV.

I don't know why we need these damn tuners anyway. Doen't DELPHI make most car ECM also? Those are all auto tune?

Bike down for hours tuning....or days waiting on an ECM flash?
Uhhhh...I think the earlier would be the better choice.

I don't need to buy from Dragos.
If Dragos will match the price I get parts at, I'll buy it.
Let's see...I get parts at dealer cost.
My dealer is a Platinum Drag Specialties dealer.
Currently, Drag has 20% below dealer cost on that part, to it's dealers.

We were able to pickup PowerVision tuners under $250 at the V-Twin show yesterday.

YES!
I'm STILL laughing at you.

Run along.

WOW!! Take a pill you will feel better in the morning!

cam timing can only be done with wrenches. ignition timing can be altered, but not cam timing.

No. You quoted a discounted price for the EMS. I quoted full MSRP for the PV. The PV will also come discounted, at what price, I don't know. If you compare apples to apples, the EMS is $800 and the PV is $550. I tend to think the PV will go for around the $450 range, we'll see. The AutoTune can also be picked up at discounted prices. Lastly, why would you need Dyno time with the AutoTune modules in place?????

The SERT doesn't come with an AutoTune feature, nor is one available for purchase.

The EMS does NOT work with the stock ECM. If this were the case, why is the ECM being flashed by RevPerf???

Now, since you have the EMS, let me ask you this...
Will RevPerf flash the ECM back to its stock configuration should you need/want it?
If so, will they do this for free?
If your ECM goes out, will RevPerf flash a new ECM, at no charge?
Do they include anything (a cd disc) with your stock ECM settings when it's returned?

Seems I read from the RevPerf site that any HD dealer can overwrite the
Rev flash with a stock HD one.

That sounds good, and I'll go with that.
Nowwwwww....if you want/need the stock flash...at what price will a dealership charge to do this?
After paying that fee, that brings the MSRP $800 dollar EMS unit up to what?
$875?
Assuming a dealer will do the flash for $75.

Part of what fires the injectors is code written based on valve timing events. So far all we have had to chose from are HD cams. There will now be a way to enter the cam timing events to match whatever cam you decide to use.
