Default J&M Speakers; Rokker...My Opinion

Guys,
I got the pleasure of hearing this scoot Saturday at the V-Twin Expo.
I know it was in a controlled environment, inside a building, no wind noise.

But what I heard...sounded good!

This MF'r is LOUD & clean.

If you're looking to upgrade your stereo...this is one setup to seriously consider.

I was impressed.

DISCLAIMER: I went to the V-Twin Expo. This is my OPINION based on my learnings while there. I am NOT promoting any of these products. I don't care which speakers/amp any of you buy!

Was this just speakers or speakers + Amp?

Sorry, I should have stated that.
It was their "Rokker" bike.
This bike includes 500w amp, 2 sets of their 7.25" speakers.
1 set in the fairing, 1 set in the fairing lowers.

You can see a video demo on their website.

The question is... Did it impress you enough to swap out your Alpine head unit for something that will run the J&M Gear??

Why would I need to do that?
It'll wire right to an aftermarket head unit.

Oh, cool. Must have been someone else around here that questioned if the J&M amp would wire into their Alpine head unit. I thought that was you Piggy. My mistake.

Couldn't have been me.
I'm running a Pioneer unit.
It's in my sig.
But the amp will wire up to an aftermarket head unit.

It could have used a bit more bass but I'm not sure how J&M has their stereo settings on that bike.
I don't think you're going to get chest pounding bass out of any of these fairing speakers, though...no matter the brand.

I met John & Rokker at the Cleveland Bike Show last weekend.

John is a super nice guy, and REALLY works the crowd at the shows. I walked around there for HOURS,...and every time I passed by the J & M booth, John was in someone's ear, pimping the J&M gear.

John gave me my own "demo", as he promised, and pulled no punches.

John is well aware that our systems are apples and oranges, ........and I am too.

My system was built for me to feel like I'm at a rock concert. Best system I've ever heard. Most bass I've ever heard. Clearest sound I've ever heard with 1200 watts.

However, I've given up a LOT of my storage space , and a few thousand dollars.
No one in their right mind should do that !

John's sytem is built specifically for MOST of the touring bike enthusiests. It has what you want :

Really good sound
Plug & play
Easier on the wallet
No loss of space

I will admit that I haven't heard a "factory plug & play" upgrade that sounds better.

Some will still be "sticker shocked" by the price, but.............this stereo upgrade stuff isn't cheap !

The design of the lower speakers & boxes is very crafty, just like J & M planned !!

I enjoyed my time talkimg to John. He is a class act !!

I wish him continued success with the J & M brand !!
