2011 RevPerf Tuner install
Allright.... Recieved my 2011 FLHRC 103" in September and put on 1200+ miles before winter. I was not happy with the throttle response, running a little lean, too quiet, etc... Bought the RevPerf kit along with V&H slip ons and the AN Big ***** breather in March/April. After dealing with RP customer service, I do believe I was the first to attempt an install on a 2011. Had to ship the headers to RP for new bungs( local shop was iffy on location), and we had to go with an '08 ecu after the RP couldn't key my "11 ecu after 2+ weeks. Install was straight forward after I triple checked wire colors with the shop manual. If you add up all the potential hp/torque gains listed by the various products... guestimate is mayby 10+ hp. A dyno would have to be used. Seat of the pants is a friggin magic carpet ride! Throttle reponse is good, app 16-22 degrees cooler and pulls hard. It ran great right after the required 10 minute idle. I am currently not desireable of any further engine mods. It will take my tuned '81 KZ1000 for what that is worth....
