Default For All My Touring Buddies Stuck In The Snow!

It was cold this morning here in San Diego, about 58 degrees when I fired up the Hog for a ride up the Coast with my buddy. Here are some sounds to keep you warm!!!

Must be nice Dude! February now... maybe in another month and a half if we're lucky we can ride in some high 30 degree weather. Thats if the ice is off the roads by then! The day light is sticking around past 5pm, so there is some "light at the end of the tunnel" for the Alaskan winter .

Unfortunately for me... I slipped on the ice yesterday morning at work and broke my ankle!! I'm scheduled for surgery on Tuesday to fix it (plates and screws). The Doc is talking cast for 6-8 weeks, and a "walking boot" for a few more weeks after that. I'm pissed! I just want to ride! You can bet I'll be working overtime to rehab this ankle.

Anyway... enjoy your weather, and the riding

Hey Jeff, Nice! and I noticed the license plate frame also, have one just like it on my bike, under covers in the shed.
You wouldn't be a Drill Instructor would you, I was from 1969 to 1972, right after I returned from my tour in SE Asia, loved it OOHRAA, used to run those Tu*ds into the ground they hated me which was great!!
I used to ride all over southern Ca back then, a trip up to Julian would clear the mind. Enjoy Buddy, Semper Fi
Ride Safe, watch out for those Road Hazards

Between all the snow, salt & craters around, even if it was 58 degrees here we couldn't ride...(we could but then she'd get all messy lol)
Thanks for the clip anyway

Why don't you just kick me in the nuts and get it over with ??
Temps are in the upper 30's, and we are getting some melting....
non the less we're still under 3 ft of snow.

I'm just envious and venting some winter steam...

I am in San Diego visiting with the family. Arrived Wensday night and been out evey day all day long and the weather has been great for riding, but I have only seen 5 Harleys on the road in three days. if we had this kind of weather in Minnesota I would not be able to count the number of Harleys that I would see.
It is going to be in the 70's today so maybe in will be warm enough for the hardy San Diego riders to get out today

Thanks! Almost forgot what they sound like -- music to my ears. Right now mine sounds like this "____________________".
