Thanks for all the feedback, I was doubtful if it would actually make a noticeable difference but with all the feedback I've gotten I have no doubt that its going to work for me.
EE Bean, before you tackle the job, you might want to see if you have a 10-24 tap. i think three of my brass bushings weren't tapped for the threads for the screws that hold the flap brackets in place. it's easy to do, and they work great. it's nice having a way to direct the air flow either towards you or away from you.
Absolutely love mine. Keeps you cooler in the hot Florida summers and warmer in the winters. My wife loves them too riding in the back. If she gets too cold, she always asks me to close them. I painted mine jet flat black on the insides, love the look. Really gives your bike a solid look.
Boots,
Thanks for your photos, the first time I've seen how these things fit on. My bike is earlier than yours, so are they held on using existing screw holes?
I lot cheaper than HD's. Where I get the most buffeting is when I put my feet up on the crash bar pegs. I put a fork baffle in, that helps a little but I still get a lot of wind, besides from my wife. Anyone else get this?
