I've got the early HD non-adjustable kind. They do reduce the wind buffet. Due to the increased drag that they create, you'll burn a wee bit more fuel but not enough to matter.

dealer says HD discontinued them for my '07 SG?

'08 and mewer are different mount style

like WTF?

I believe you can use them. The mounting is the same but there is an extra hole in the part? Not positive but I recall others saying they will work.

They definately help. I never open mine up unless it's over 100 degrees out.

I bought mine on-line from Freedom Wings. They're not a cure-all for the buffeting I was trying to cure, but they do make a noticeable difference. I would recommend them.

I think your dealer is full of ****, they're still listed in the 2011 accessory catalog. Black 58568-98A Dk smoke 57740-05 Lt tint 58120-96A
