Could also swap out the MM for a carb. Parts list is posted all over the net on this.

From personal experience, I can tell you that a welded exhaust pipe lasts just long enough to get another exhaust pipe ordered. That mistake cost me an exhaust valve.

Thanks for all the responses, sometimes you can forget about the simple things & someone will say something & then it clicks. I did not want to find the injector bad, since I just bought them last year, I think that is why it took longer that it should have. Spoke too soon as for it running well, I should have fraised it that the rear cyl is back to running. Took it out on a rode test & as long as I am giving it throttle, it runs great, but at cruise or idle it is popping through the throttle body. I sprayed it down while it was running & don't seem to have a intake leak. I do have SE adjustable push rods that I had readjusted about 4-5 months ago. I set them @ 8 1/4 turns which would be 2 turns, so I don't think they are too tight. The instructions that came with it said 2.5 turns, I think it makes less valve train noise @ 2 turns. Guess I will try to get a look on the back side to see if I rolled the intake gaskets.

Good news, it is not my caliper that is leaking. Bad news is it is the front fork. Did get the Ultra running, it was the intake gaskets (rubber rings). I did not roll one but they were thinner than the originals, so I don't think they were getting pushed up against the head good enough. Took it out & rode it a little then took it back & changed the oil in the engine & trans & washed it. Poor thing has not had a bath for several months. Next project is the front seals in the forks & change out the fluid. Gonna ride tomorrow to work.

Road to work this morning, took about 3 miles for it to run smooth but after that it has run flawlessly. No to get the radio back to working.
