Default SE 2009 Front Headlight Assembly

I have heard that you can install the SE 2009 Headlight assembly on the 2009 Standard Road Glide fairing to eliminate the plastic cover over the headlights. I am looking for anyone who has done that and how difficult is it. Also need to know the part number for the assembly. Any information is helpful. Thanks.

the plastic lens cover just pops off. has little tabs @ each corner on top and bottom and you can use a small screwdriver to push down to release the cover. the se cover just snaps back in the same way. i will see if i can find the number but dealer should have it. it is a cheap piece for hd....

SparkyO1,
When I apply the SE cover it will eiliminate the plastic lens - correct? I am looking for the piece that allows the headlights to be open with no plastic lens in front - the way the are on the 2009 SE Road Glide.

You can look up part numbers here.
Just add whatever part to the parts list, then send to cart and the part number will show up in check out.
