Default Slip-on muffs for an '11...NOT loud

So my plan, for now anyway, it to ride it with stock exhaust, including the cat. But...if the quiet kills me, what would be the very next step up in GOOD sound. Supertrapp SE? Rush 2.0?

I just installed the SE Fatshotz on our '10. Everyone has liked them so far. Deeper sound, not louder, just what we wanted. Will be getting a full tune after this 24" of snow leaves, around mid July.....

I have the SE performance street exhaust. I removed the cat and they now they have a deep tone but not loud if that makes sense.

Thanks viper. Hard to tell from a soundclip like that but those Thunderheaders sound wayyyy louder than I'm looking for.

I just put a set of Klock Werks SS Slip Ons on my 2011 FLHR. They are the best sounding pipes I've heard. Not overly loud. They are very deep and throaty. They make the bike sound like a Harley for sure. They are just loud enough to hear them when you're running 80mph. The best part was the price. $345.00. They are 4 inch cannons too. Double rolled. Very nice looking. Not a cheap look either. Go get some.

On mine, I eliminated the cat with a fuelmoto 2-1-2 header and left the stock mufflers in place. It's a little louder than stock this way.

I have the SE Thunder slip-ons. Nice deep tone but still pretty quiet. A nice balance I think. Definately on the quiet side though. I will try to post a good sound clip.

Stro,

I had a pair of Python Predators on my Limited on the stock head pipe w/the cat. I really liked the sound, not too loud at all. After my Dresser Duals, they had a "crack" I didn't like. I bought some Monster Rounds which are quieter.
Looking back with it all to do over? I'd leave the stock header on with the cat with the Pythons. They are made by V&H for Drag and look like a 3" Monster Oval. Cheap too!

I still have the cat with a set of V&H fishtails on my RKC. With the standard baffles it's loud enough, but not terrible or objectionable.
