Ran my A lifters to 81,000 when I then did the gear drives. There was mild scuffing on both the lifters and the old cams.
The "new" B series lifters I installed are quiet when cold, noisy at idle when warm so today I just ordered the set of Headquarters "Silent Ops" lifters.
We'll see if they're worth the $159 plus shipping!
