Have you been able to compare both? I'm hoping to find someone with a jm set I can hear next to my boom set. My boom spkrs are fine up to half volume, but then get really buzzy. I dbl checked that all mounts were solid. Would love to just get clearer sound, not necessarily louder.

As to the "buzz" you speak of I haven't had any of that at all. Mine are very clear all the way up to 90+%.

you could use the hogtunes tweeter pod on your streetglide like i did on mine. but take into consideration that the hogtunes tweeter pod costs more than the boom harley speakers if they're actually $110 like viper817 mentioned. the tweeter pods don't increase your midrange or bass, only the high frequency sounds, so the boom speakers look to be a better choice.
