Default 2007 Heads on a 2011

Hello,

Is there a way to get 2007 heads to fit on a 2011 bike?

Same engine, should fit. Unless the different engine stabilizer in 08 makes a difference,I don't think the castings changed.

The rear cylinder head will fit. I don't believe the 06-07 front head will fit on the 08 and newer bikes. I don't have any of my parts manuals handy, but I'll look later today when I can get out to my garage.

I got my 07 Street glide heads done then my bike was stolen.

Looked at some 2011 bikes today and it seems like there was just 2 holes that needs to be drilled in order to make it fit.

Has anyone done this before?

Both will fit fine. You will have to drill out the bosses on the front head for the engine stabilizer.

as dawg mentioned, look at the way your 2011 front head has that lateral link that connects the front head to the frame downtube. you'll have to drill and tap the head to allow you to use that linkage.

I've been wondering the same thing, so all you have to do is drill out the bosses? I see killer deals on ebay all day long but the heads are pre 09
