Hi Fellows I was in China 2 years ago and went to a knock off market.Place was full of HD stuff.It all looked very real and genuine including tags and such.Fact of the matter is
China does and will continue to knock off anything where they can make a buck. Yes I bought an HD vest.

 

Dont see how it could be called a knock off when its made there to begin with. You just cut out the middle man.

 

Did you guys receive any emails after ordering (and paying) a jacket? Just did but none of that...

 

K just read through the posts and noticed they don't send a confirmation mail so i'll keep you guys updated on this order.

 

Bought a harley-davidson leather jackets from happarel yesterday using credit card.

Now, can't even view their websites. Website Down - 404 Error ???

I did try www.happarel.com and without the "www" after reading the first post here.

Both not working!

I read this forum and a few others about this website. I was very cautious and thought if over for a few weeks. I seen a few negative reviews but more positive. So, I tried it. I ordered a Road Warrior 3 in 1 leather jacket. I ordered an XL. I got it and it has a vest liner inside that looked like it would fit my 11yr old daughter. So, I took the vest out and tried the jacket on and its more like a medium. It looks like where they stopped sewing each letter on the front they connected it to the next. There is a small piece of yarn connecting each letter. And I can tell the difference of the leather on this jacket compared to the jackets I tried on at the Harley shop. As of now, I am out about $350 until happarel.com emails me back and we go from there. I am planning on returning it and will be out shipping and 7% stocking fee if all goes well. I knew what I was getting into so its all on me. I have read some people have had a great experience with this website, but I have not. I'll just buy my jacket from the harley shop. Its good to have forums like these to help people decide and I hope my story is helpful to someone.
