Exclamation Brake/turn signals no longer running lights

I noticed today my turn signals and brake light do not operate as running lights on my 02 Ultra Classic. I bought the bike already set up. I've pulled the seat and found the module. I don't know if a bad module would impact my brake light or not, but he brake light does work. I don't know the age of the module. I bought the bike in 2008 and had the running lights until now. The UC had only 5,100 actual miles on it and I've put another 5,000 on it. Should the module expire with so few miles? Would my brake lights continue to work if the module was dead? I need help. I am stupid when it comes to this. I just retired (for the second time) so maybe I can learn to do some of these things myself without bothering other people. Any advice and/or guidance.

could be a lot of things , could be the module , fuse , broke wire see were this is going , just get a test light and start checking , if you use a test light see if you have power going to the module , if you do and nothing going out its bad , if no power to it then you have to go forward like fuses , if you have power coming out then go further back like plugs or wiring , could even be bulbs but all of them at the same time would really be out there

I have moved my Kury module from the last two bikes to this one so I guess it has 50,000-60,000 miles on it with no problem. That's not to say it will never fail.

First thing...Unplug the module. See if you get proper operation of the turn sigs and brake light. If everything works properly with the module removed, it's safe to say it's the module. If not, start checking your wiring.

I had the turn sig conversion module, and I too noticed that my turn sigs stopped working as brake lights, turned out where I placed the module was not ideal, it got a bit crushed. Here's a nice thing about ABC Harley - they replaced it as warranty even tho it was my fault.

Take a look at where its placed, if you have it in a place where it gets pressure on it, it might be bad.

On the stock set up, the rear signals never worked as running lights, only the front. That's why they call for different bulbs (H-D 68168-89A, front and H-D 68572-64B, rear). 1157, dual filament and 1156, single filament in normal bulb numbers.

I only know this because I also swore they had once been running lights.

The OP has the conversion module. You still use the 1156 rear and you get full function, brake/running/turn

Also if you are running any special bulbs, like the flash brake light bulbs, this will disable the running light feature.

The only thing I've changed since buying the UC was change the brake light to LED. The turn signals are still bulbs (I'm making all my lights LED and I'll be using the Illuminator). Could it be that making the brake LED was like taking a link out of the chain causing the bulbs not to work as running lights? Maybe I'll put the old one back and see if that makes a difference. I really do appreciate all the guidance and advice.
