Default kuryakyn adjustable passenger pegs

I bought a set at a swap meet & didn't realize the plastic stoppers were missing. does anyone know if these are available, or if your using something else to keep the pegs from rubbing on the mounts in the absence of the plastic stoppers.

Also I have the stock floorboard mounts & read in j&p that on my stock 2005 it "requires" extended board mounts. Doesn't look necessary just looks like an additional $80. However it might make taking the clutch cover off easier.

Any input would be appreciated.

You can get replacement parts. Contact Kuryakyn. I had to get replacement parts for my set. They will work fine with your stock floorboard mounts.

I think the extended floor board bracket is only if you run Rinehart true duals.

You can get a set of passenger floorboard extenders a lot cheaper than that from soos (soos-kits) here on the forum. I have his kit and yes it does make getting the derby cover off a snap. You don't have to remove the mount in order to take the cover off with the extenders on.
