going to have my harley hiway pegs powdercoated black. how do you remove the footpad so it can be reused.

 

I am about 11 hours from my bike so I can't go look at mine but I would not think they can be removed and used again. Not certain on that and others may know better but the rubber may have to just be taped off.

 

There is a socket screw (allen head) at the end of the peg. Just remove it and the pad will come off.
