big sucker or heavy breather

That last one, the smooth chrome, looks pretty nice. I like my Velociraptor, although I have not ridden it yet to see if I really like it or not.

I have an SE Heavy Breather on my Rocker, but was worried about clearance on the Ultra (I wanted to make sure the AC wasn't in the way in any riding position since I wanted the bike to be as comfortable as possible for putting in high mile days). So I went with the SE Ventilator. It looks good on my bike (blacked out), moves the same amount of air as the SE Heavy Breather, and is actually about 1" tighter to the bike than the stock AC. Very happy with the choice.

Some bikes do it and some don't. And there doesn't seem to be a lot of evidence that supports a specific cause. I remember reading an article a while back about engine break-in affecting oil blow-by. The article stated that if the rings are not seated properly during the break-in period then you would get the notorious oil blow-by. Both of my current bikes were broken-in on the dyno after the build. Neither one of them suffer from blow-by.

I vote for something other than the Heavy Breather/Heavy Breather TYPE A/C. I have a SE Heavy Breather on my Street Glide. Probably not a better looking or better functioning A/C out there....BUT...it gets in the way my friend! You get used to it after a while but I'm still NOT crazy about it. Hindsight...should have gone a different direction...Big Sucker might be just the thing or even just a SE A/C KIT......
