What is making me Hunch my shoulders up when riding ?

If you can, attend a rally or two... or maybe a bike night, and look at other's bikes, talk to their owners.
As others have said, it's usually riding position that's the culprit - induced by the combination of seat and bars.
If you have a seat you're satisfied with, hop on and have a friend stabilize the bike upright with your feet on the boards. Sit in a comfortable position and extend your arms to a comfortable position. Take note of the rise and pullback, and you'll know the approximate type of bars you need.

I too had back/shoulder problems when I first got the 09 Ultra. You have to make it fit you, in the saddle & the bars. Going out to sturgis last year I added a 2" pad to the front of my backrest, rode 9hrs. straight the first day, not a problem. Not knowing any other particulars about your situation...ie, height, reach...etc, you should definitely get measured for different bars than stock, pull back will be alot different, depending on what seat you settle on. Like others have pointed out.....seat +bars=riding position makes for a good day or a sore day!

check with your dealer and ask if they have the FIT SHOP if they don't find one by ya that does. mine did and it help me with a seat and doing some lowering work. my dealer has 15 or so different handle bars and seats and can move the foot controls around to fit you, check around sure takes the guess work out of it.
