I never FULLY sealed off my farring but did line it with Dynamatt and it is really a good cheap diy upgrade. Really made a difference on my 4 6.5inch Rockford Fosgates on my Road Glike

Default Dynamat

I have no clue what that stuff costs anymore, but J&M sells a set that is precut and ships for nothing made specificly for the batwing. It is 37 bucks shipped plus tax.

I used Dynaxorb made by Dynamat; the 6" squares installed directly behind the fairing speakers and it works as advertised. It didn't make a "Wow!" difference, but definitely improved the sound quality.

http://www.dynamat.com/products_car_audio_dynaxorb.html

I don't have any empirical data on "back-wave interference," but I did do a simple before and after test by placing the palm of my hand on the outer fairing while playing a CD before installing the Dynaxorb and noted significant vibration, and then noticed significantly reduced vibration after installing the Dynaxorb and playing the same music at the same volume. As I said, not very scientific but the reduction in vibration was easily felt.

I will agree with Carl i noticed a good bit of difference in sound quality and vibration but i used cheap mouse pads cut them to fit and used 3m spray adhesive to attach them. Same concept just different material.Done this while installing my ARC mini amp.

Ronnie, the mouse pads are a good, inexpensive alternative suggested by Firecap501 here, but I'd already done the Dnyaxorbs when I heard about it. Glad you posted the mouse pads alternative.

I have Hawg Wired now. How does the RF compare to Hawg Wired?

OK I read both of your posts on mouse pads and was really struggling to come up with, in all of my pat audio experience what the heck you guys were talking about, as I was reading them and scrolling around, with my MOUSE, it dawned on me!!! I am the first to admit, sometimes I guess I ain't so smart.

That was kind of my original question, now I know the amp is not released, but the speakers have been out there for a while now. Kinda hope someone chimes in with the speaker info soon.
