Default Do I need cables and wires? And where to buy?

Right now I have a set of Roland Sands 8 inch bars on my 2010 street glide. I ordered Yaffe 12 inch monkey bars. I already had to get extended cables for the 8 inch bars. Would i have to get longer cables again and new wiring? I didnt do the install, the dealer did so im not sure how long the cables are that were ordered for the Roland Sands bars.

If I do have to get them can someone help me out and let me know exactly what I need and where to get them. I would like black stainless steel braided lines. And my bike has ABS so Burly does not make them. If not black braided stainless steel lines then I dont mind the nylon.

I dont have an answer for you, but I just slapped on 12" bars on my RK last night so I'll be reading the responses.

I've seen the whole set for about $177 on ebay for the extra 6" length, but not black stainless.

I've read a ton of spread out threads so hopefully we get some concise info here. I think Hill Country Customs is a decent place and may even be the place on ebay that I saw.

Don't know what length you have now but you'll need +8 on the clutch cable and +6 on the brake line to the ABS module if you have ABS. I'd say +6 on the brake line is a safe bet even if you don't have ABS. You don't need to change wiring. Just reroute the plugs in the fairing under the radio. I ordered Magnum Sterling Chromite cables from Dr. Vtwin. I would recomment getting the throttle by wire that has the plug located at the bottom. It makes it much easier to pull wires. I just cut the plug out of mine and soldered the wires.

I always advise +6" on everything for 12" bars. I can get them, for you. I am a top distributor for Magnum cables. We prefer the sterling chromite II's as they are the nicest cables around. Pm or email if you would like pricing.
