Default Reinhart Owners

Has anyone had a chance to compare Reinhart pipes with and with out the quiet baffles...?
Do the quiet baffles make a difference? or is it not worth the expense? Thanks...RC

RC, I run the quiet baffels and they make a big difference. In fact I wish they were a little less quiet. Something in between the quiet and standard baffles would be just right. I bought a second set and plan to do a little surgery to open em up just a tad.

If I read the J&P cycles catalog correctly, the new rineharts do not have interchangeable baffles. I think the wording under the baffles is "For old style rinehart duals" But thats fine anyway........I like 'em loud!

Stumpman, Try M&M cycles. I paid about 90 bucks.

I guess I'm the minority. Too loud for me on a 103 even with the quiet baffles. Took off and put stock exhaust/touring mufflers back on. Packing the quiet baffles did not make much difference.

Thanks guys, I spoke to the BUBs folks and they told me that they were available for tru-duals, nothing mentioned abot old or new style.
I personally don't mind the sound, I like to ride to work so I'm trying not to upset the neighbors too much when I have the early shift. Right now it seems loud since i just got them on but maby we will all get use to them. Thanks again...

I was worried about the neighbors also, so I usually just idle slowly out of the development until I hit the main street. I have talked to most of them and nobody has an issue with it (I usually leave around 4:45am)
