the rear banana board is a cover. The bottom will look the same. don't see any closed pics but I have a Harley chrome cover on the bottom

I bought the entire package, front an rear. The rear is what CycleSmith calls as a cover. I rolled the dice and I am not happy with the rear. They are installed by removing the stock rubber insert and mount ontop of the stock floorboard, it looks horrible when the board is folded up. The stock rear against the front banana board looks better than the cyclesmith board. Dont get me wrong it looks good when they are down just not up.

Default CS Banana boards

Has anyone else on the Forum had any problem with there CycleSmiths Banana boards finish pitting or come off .I am on my 3rd set and this set is also starting to PIT I am almost affraid to call them back.They have been GREAT with me in the past,I just dont understand why this keep happening. 1 I dont ride in the rain and if I get caught in rain I was bike ASAP 2-Mable Jean doesnt get left outside I am about ready too pull out my hair

i love these boards but rear ones doesn't look as nice as front ones, that's why i choose a CVO set instead. Pegs will looks better but sometimes you, like all, have to deal with OL.
