Default Help... What is This?

Guys, I'm a new Harley owner and I'm trying to learn about my bike. I figured out the accessory plug and the B+ plug under the seat, but what is this plug? (See attached photos). It's on the right side, near the oil fill dipstick. It runs directly to the battery, fused with an inline 7.5 amp fuse near the battery. Is it factory or an add on for a battery charger or other accessory??? 2006 FLHXI.

Thats for hooking up a battery trickle charger to, like a Battery Tender or another charger like that. Looks just like the one on my bike.

Just in case you didn't get it the first three times...

It's the pigtail for a battery charger!

I guarantee there will be post below me stating the same. People can't help themselves...giggle

Most dealers add the plug during dealer prep.

No, but a ton of dealers put them on for "free" when the bike is being prep'd.
Makes you want to buy the charger from them I suppose.
