That EXO Scorpion is an EXCELLENT Helmet ! I am really impressed by it. I think the HJC FS2 is a copy of it at 1/2 the price I wish I could get a look at the inside of that HJC to see if it has a great take out flap like the EXO .

HCI Jockey style helmet. Fits really nice and beyond the "bill" of the helmet it doesn't catch any wind becaus it is thinner. On top of that, i think i payed 50ish$ for a great looking comfy DOT helmet (has to be DOT in our state).

As a side note... if you want the option of being able to bring a helmet back because you don't like it then buy from Cyclegear. THey give you seven days to bring a helmet back. I have bought so many helmets because 99% of places sell you a helmet and once you go out the door it is yours. Then after riding in it for 2 hours with wind pressure on your head you find you have a hotspot and your head is going to explode! looking funny walking around the store with it on your head for 15 minutes don't help finding that.

HJC FS-2 has venting but no drop-down visor. IS-2 has drop-down visor but no venting. Both have the removable ear/neck curtain.

Scorpion EXO-100 has both drop-down visor and venting, and also has the removable curtain. It normally costs more, but I just picked up a new EXO-100 off ebay at close-out pricing of $30 + add'l visors for $5 each. I'd already tried sizes at a local Kawa-zuki shop...bad me!?!

I wanted the retractable visor, but also NEED the venting on hot, sunny days.

Signed,
Mr. Bi-Focaled Sweaty-Head!

I found Scorpions to run true to size, but other respones I've seen state they run large for your normal size. I think its the shape of you head that determines it.

I'd try to find a shop and test fit some.

You can keep your sunglasses behind the lens (interchangeable in several colors). Picked up 2 a few years back around $100 online. Hope it helps in your decision....

Helmets are like condoms. I personally dont like to wear them but fitment is very important. try as many as you can riding. you wont know which one you like until you need to use it.
