I finally talked to the service manager today. Asked him what was the preferred exhaust size on the ultra's, and he said 2" was probably the most popular. I am going to the dealership this weekend to hear some different exhaust's that they have on bikes. I did ask him if you could get a different size baffle for the rush, and he said no. To the rush salesman, are there different models you can get that may or may not offer this? I think it would be a great option just in case you weren't happy with what you got.
Every one of our slip on muffler has a minimum of 3 baffle size options, and always has. For your bike, if you keep the stock headpipes, do not use the 2.00" or smaller. The 2.00" will only be slightly louder than stock. Most people are not happy with that. I recommend slip ons with the 2.25" or 2.50" and any of our dealers can get those for you. The best part about our slip ons is the ability to get different baffles sizes, and to change them after the initial install. If you send me a PM with the dealer name I'll get them the proper info.
thanks,
Ryan
