Default Cam locking tool

My local HD dealer does not have the cam locking tool in stock. Is there any work around. What happens if the dots dont line up when I break the bolts loose?

You don't need the lock tool to take them off. Putting them on is easier with the lock tool

Yep, same here, except I had a helper depress the brake pedal. No need for the tool, but if you did a cam job every week you would want to invest in it.
