Anyone use this bulb??? I got one to put into my Ultra, but I read on the back that its only good for like 150 hours? Well we ride all day on Saturday and Sunday usually, so that won't last long, and at $29.29 for one..........????

Anyone else use them, and do they last ok??????

 

I've got on in my RKC. It's been in there for 15k miles or so.....Yours says on the package it's only good for 150 hours? I don't see how they could ever sell one. In the average car, you'd have to change bulbs every 6-8 months.

 

I have the Osram 80/100 bulb from GermanAutoParts.com & it's "heli" bright. Go to their website & search for part# H480100OS, cost = $12.45/ea + shipping.

 

I just bought one today for my Ultra. i couldn't find on the package where i said how many hours. it did say there was a one year satisfaction from the date of purchase.

 

No time on the package, it was on the website from the back of the package.

 

i see, well ill let you know, cause i ride all the time. ill take it back if it doesnt last at least a year.

 

Have been using one for about 4 years no problems yet. Mine has a ST after the H4 for motorcycle use.

 

I was going to buy some for my car but did a search on the bulbs. Most only got 4 months to a year on the bulbs. I went to a Sylvania forum. Don't remember which 1. It could of been Amazon also. Amazon was the cheapest price. But for 30 or 40 dollars for a few months it's not worth the price. I'm sure they sell millions of bulbs so 1 or 2 neg about the bulbs are not too bad. I remember at 1 point Wagner had lifetime warrenty on the replacement bulbs.

 

Putting one in this weekend, so I guess I can do a hopefully looooong term test on it, at $30 a bulb, better be looooong term! I thought I would keep my receipt and take it back and see what they say at Advance Auto Parts if it burns out, since it says it will last 12 months....
