I would think the Harley heavy duty cylinder studs are pretty good. I have em on my 103 stage V and haven't blown one yet.

When I did my build, I did alot of research and the consensus was that the stock harley cylinder studs are just fine. I ended up using my stockers and so far have not had a problem. I also posted the same question on the headquarters board and Doug also told me that the stockers were fine. He said that he preferred them an even uses them on his own build. It will be interesting to see what others have to say.

i am in the in the process of a 110 build and went with the S&S studs. This was based on the recommendation of a very reputable builder. He said they have better strength?, they are also cheaper. I could not tell you if they are better or not, they look the same, they install the same and have the same look and appearance as the harley studs.
