Default Jiffy Stand Strength

Will the jiffy stand hold your body weight if you use the floorboards to mount the bike. I have short legs and it sure would make it easier if I could trust it to hold my weight (225 lbs.).

My wife gets on with the jiffy stand down, but I am there on the other side holding on to the bike. But it has never given any indication that it won't hold. Good luck.

Never seen one break..the stand is sharing the weight with the tires too, ( I just wouldn't jump up and down on it!)

The Jiffy Stand is one of those things that Harley got right. I have never had one fail me.
It would be interesting to know how many pounds they are rated to hold.

Well, mine holds the scooter up fine, it just seems to "lean" a little more that it used to.

There have been days where I have been tired and sore and it was easier to just step on the floorboard and swing the leg over the seat. Never had a problem with it.

I have kicked back and napped on mine. Even sat in traffic with the stand down, 2-up (320 lbs) with no problems.

+1 I think you could do just about anything on a jiffy stand except park in gravel, sand, or fresh asphalt.
