Road Glide Ultra Compartment Liners

Road Glide Ultra Compartment Liners
I have a 2010 Road Glide Custom; I like the compartment liners found in the glove boxes on the 2011 Road Glide Ultra fairing. The dealer told me they were the same as the liners listed in the accessory catalog (part number 58932-98), but now that I bought those, it's obvious to me they aren't the same. The ones on the RG Ultra seem more substantial. Anybody know a part number for ordering those liners?

I have the catalog parts. They work well. I've seen a few aftermarket parts that did seem more 'stout' which to my mind just means they took up more space.
Since the only real purpose is to reduce rattles and maybe give a bit of padding, I'd think lightest and thinest would be best. The catalog parts are thin fabric bonded to thin open cell foam and they also dry fast if you have to stuff wet items in. The aftermarket ones made of carpet seemed like they would stay wet.

I did the same thing. I looked at the ones in the RGU Se and then went to the parts man and had him order me some just like it. Well your right they are not the same, kind of cheap made but after I got them installed I think they are worth the $27 I gave for them. I'm going to give them a try and see how they work out. Like Mfuchs2004 says they are thin so they won't take up any room. The liners for the lowers are made out of the good stuff you are wanting. Good Luck

actually spoke to my parts guy last week...the CVO RGU version seems to be what everyone wants, not the cheaper foam ones that you get. If you look at the picture HD provides in their catalog, it is of the CVO RGU liners, not the POS they sent me. The better liners are $29.95 each, not for the pair and was told that they are available
