I had the new style mount installed around 5K. At first, it felt like the front end was gonna vibrate apart but was smooth at highway speeds. Now about 2500 miles later, it isn't near as bad as it was.

 

Dealer found broken mount 2000 miles ago and replaced it with the new, "improved" one. Now my 05 Electra Glide really vibrates. Told me it would get better after about 500 miles, Wrong. If anything, it is worse now. Would really like to find a solution so it can go back to the way it was before the motor mount change, any suggestions.

 

I'm planning on installing a GlidePro mount this winter while my bike is not being used. They are also pricey (around $90) but i'm overdue for a new mount.

 

Whats the best way to tell if the mount is bad? Is it obvious..........
