Default Speakers in Lids

I just recently put the J&M's 7.25's with an Elf amp in my 09 Street Glide.

I'm considering putting speakers in my bags. Still looking for something that will give me some bass The wife also said she can't hear the stereo very well. I did a search but only found bits and pieces. I'd like to find a company that makes the lids with speaker grills installed so I can find my own speakers. Suggestions for those would be great as well.

I've seen a few rather expensive options that include lids, speakers and amps. Hoping my elf amp will be enough to drive the new speakers or just let the amp run the rears, as the J&M's sound pretty good without the amp.

I just put the Cycle Sounds in my RKC bags and have a video for you. They seriously rock. They make the full lids and stuff for the hard bags too, and I can get them for you. PM me for pricing please.

Not a fan of speakers sitting upright in the elements. Check out the link in my signature. You can get an idea of what it's like to mount them facing the rear wheel.

Haven't heard a bike in the USA with more bass than mine makes. You'd be surprised what those hardbags can do !!

Well, they come with a hydrophobic material to keep the water out. there is no way I would have gotten these if they were going to fizzle in a quick downpour.

Yeah...but with the cycle sounds lids you get to keep your storage space.
I'd rather change out the lids than drill 1000 holes in my saddlebags. I'm not a fan of that.

Plus you don't need 2 million watts to actually hear the highs and mids. They're facing you rather than the tire.

I agree. No way would I let my stereo inhibit my ability to pack the bags and tour pack for a week long trip. To each their own is right. My Cyclesounds lids should be here on Thursday.
