My tire sticks out further than the fender.....Unless it was something at just the right height it would hit the tire first.....

The front bumper makes an excellent cigar holder when I stop some where and have a cigar going.

And I like the way it looks.

Have made a few changes from the picture you see here, one of them was removing the front and rear bumpers. That fat tire on the rear looks even better with the bumper gone.

I took the front completely off and left the rear on 'cause it supports the bags ( I may remove the rubber like painey). IMO the rear doesn't look too bad, but the front bumper is ugly.

I just could not get past the big bulky black rubber and reflector on the front fender. I tried some black out on the reflector....nope, tried it with reflector off....nope, then pulled off the rubber and chromed the center support, this was my favorite way and had me considering the V bar front fender purchase. I had it on and off a few times and finally decided I prefer the look with it off because the wheel looks better and the balance between fender and wheel is best like this for me.

The rear bumper has no negative visual impact to me and seems to fit in back there just fine, plus, no reflectors to mess up the look either so it stays.

This being said though, I may try the fender on the front again to test my tastes once in awhile. I enjoy that we can adjust our bikes to whatever we want.

Definitely without. My friend took his off his Ultra. I think it made the lines much cleaner, not so bulky.

Personally I like the bumpers - I just think they look classy. I also like the clean look as well and it really looks good on most of the bikes I've seen. Either way you can't go wrong. They're ours and we can do whatever the hell we want to them!!
