i agree with the others. you are already in there & have to buy new parts anyways so you might as well get the most bang for your buck.

i only have 10k on my 06 deluxe

The S&S gear-driven cam set cost is comparable to what you're already planning to spend. You're gonna regret wasting the money on the hydraulic tensioner kit on that 2000 bike. You'll get much more bang for your buck by going to the S&S 510G.
